• 2013

  ・ CAFE FUNCHANA will hold an event with Wabi-Sabi to introduce the local industry of Sango-cho, setta and sandals.
  The event name is "DESIGN SETTA SANGO".
  It is talked about that the footwear of the hanao is arranged in a modern style and it is easy to match with casual clothes (planned quantity sold out).

  ・ We have developed a series that uses vintage fabrics from various European countries for the hanao.

• 2014

  ・ Developed with original items for all products as a joint brand "DESIGN SETTA SANGO" between CAFE FUNCHANA and Wabi-Sabi.

  ・ DESIGN SETTA SANGO vol.02 will be held for 2 weeks (planned sold out).

• 2015

  ・ Introduced as "Next Nara Mono" at the joint exhibition " rooms (Yoyogi Gymnasium, Tokyo)" for buyers and press.

  ・ DESIGN SETTA SANGO vol.03 will be held for 3 weeks (planned sold out).

  ・ Introduced twice in NHK Kansai Area News.

  ・ Introduced on Nara TV and the information program "Yudoki!".

  ・ Selected for " The wonder500 " by open call for participants.
  Under the Cool Japan policy led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, a project to discover "excellent local products that Japan should be proud of, which are not widely known in the world" and convey them overseas. It will be exhibited mainly in Europe and the United States.
